Don't look too far forward it's a mistake,
For everybody knows what's finally there.
But still all the decisions that we make
Should show that we reflect and take due care.
And yet, perhaps, that isn't really true
Have people ever come back from the dead?
I heard that someone did and that they knew
There was no God but only black instead,
But someone else said that they saw a light,
And someone else said they'd flown round the room.
But Buddhist monks say it will be alright
And that's enough to get me through the gloom.
So I'll make my decisions warily
And try to live my life responsibly.
